BLOMSTEIN proudly presents...

We are proud to have been announced as the winner in two categories of the prestigious JUVE awards on 26 October 2017 at a gala ceremony hosted by the legal publishing house JUVE at the Opera house in Frankfurt. BLOMSTEIN was awarded the Start-Up of the Year award and the Law Firm of the Year for Public Procurement Law already in our first year on the market. The JUVE Awards are considered the most prestigious industry awards in the German legal market.

„The Berlin based boutique that opened in 2016 has already become a well-established market player. Competitors rave about the ‘excellent legal expertise combined with international experience’ of the Freshfields-Spin-off. ‘Combining the practice groups Public Procurement, Antitrust and State Aid plays out extremely well.’“

The Start-Up of the Year award recognizes the development and the management skills of young law firms, which have only been on the market for 3 years or less, and which already managed their break-through in such short time. In order to qualify for the award, start-up firms must have demonstrated a dynamic development and implemented internal structures and processes that allow them to build sustainable client relationships, successful recruitment programs and a convincing brand positioning.

Besides BLOMSTEIN’s considerable client base and the firm concept in terms of our focused practice areas, the JUVE editorial team emphasized our training program for young associates in their laudation:

„The young partnership quickly came into the spotlight by the success it was able to secure for German Naval Yards in the German government’s billion Euro corvettes tender. The matter was a showcase for the ideal combination of Blomstein‘s procurement, antitrust and state aid expertise, which also comes into play in compliance matters. Clients also rave about the extremely professional work with the international trade and customs law experts. Moreover, the Freshfields-Spinoff is planning strategic growth and is already working on a training program for their associates.“
