BLOMSTEIN strengthens competition law practice
We are delighted to strengthen our competition law practice with Julius Hasse. As of 1 July 2019, Julius joins us from Freshfields where we have already worked together for many years. Julius worked in the Freshfields London office since 2011 and joined the Berlin office in 2015.
At Freshfields, he was inter alia part of the teams that advised on the sale of Unimedia by Liberty Global to Vodafone, the acquisition of Brazilian Magnesita Refratários by its global competitor RHI, the acquisition of Procter & Gamble’s beauty business by Coty Inc. or the merger between D.E. Master Blenders and Mondelēz International into Jacobs Douwe Egberts.
Since our launch in 2016, our team expanded on a continuous basis and consists of 15 legal advisors in total by now. With Julius we are delighted to welcome an experienced competition lawyer to our team whom we have known and worked with for many years and who will strengthen our competition law practice led by Anna Huttenlauch and Max Klasse.
