IBA Webinar on Exclusions and Debarments in Europe – Video Recording Online now

On 25 May 2021, the webinar on exclusions and debarments presented in Europe by the Debarment and Exclusions Subcommittee of the International Bar Association (IBA) took place. The webinar was moderated by BLOMSTEIN partner Roland M. Stein. A recording of the virtual event is online now.

The webinar focussed on exclusions and debarments from public procurement procedures in Europe. The speakers discussed current trending topics such as how contracting authorities and multilateral development banks (MDBs) deal with group companies in exclusion and debarment cases. With regard to antitrust and anticompetitive infringements, they discussed what the implications on public procurement procedures are. The discussion was furthermore focussed on contracting authorities and when they are entitled to exclude a company because of a past bad performance. The speakers were Katarzyna Kuzma, Paul Kearney, Margarida Olazabal Cabral and Dr. Annette Mutschler-Siebert.
