FCO clearance for IVC Evidensia for large veterinary deal
BLOMSTEIN successfully advised IVC Evidensia on the acquisition of the Veterinary Clinic Hofheim, presumably the largest veterinary clinic in Germany.
IVC is a leading veterinary group in Europe, majority owned by private eqiuity investor EQT, Nestlé and Silver Lake Partners. After a comprehensive assessment and market test with interviewing more than 50 competitors as well as chambers and industry associations, the German Federal Cartel Office concluded that the transaction will not lead to a significant restriction of competition and issued clearance, see here
