New WorldECR Article: Franco-German Cooperation in Export Controls

The latest edition of the journal of export controls and sanctions WorldECR has just been released. BLOMSTEIN lawyers Florian Wolf and Leonard von Rummel have contributed an article about the Franco-German military cooperation with regard to export control matters.

The article focusses on recent moves of France and Germany toward greater cooperation in the field of military export controls. In this regard, Florian and Leonard analyse the Treaty on Franco-German Cooperation and Integration (“Treaty of Aachen”), the related Franco-German Agreement on Military Export Controls (“Agreement on Military Export Controls”) and explore their repercussions. They conclude with an outlook on the future cooperation of France and Germany in the defence industry.
