CV
Christoph Priess studied law with a focus on international and European law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg (LL.B.) and the University of Cambridge (LL.M.). He holds a PhD from Bucerius Law School. His dissertation deals with the use of advisory opinions of the International Court of Justice to settle inter-state disputes. As a PhD student, he worked as a research assistant at Bucerius Law School and BLOMSTEIN and conducted a research stay at the PluriCourts Centre at the University of Oslo. He completed his legal traineeship (“Referendariat”) at the Higher Regional Court in Berlin with placements at the Foreign Federal Office, a major German law firm (trade department) and the Federal Ministry of Justice.
