Nicolas Bussler specialises in German and European competition and antitrust law, including merger control and the regulation of digital markets. He advises clients before German and European courts as well as in proceedings before the Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) and the European Commission.

Nicolas studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin, Université Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), and King’s College London. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin, with placements at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, at BLOMSTEIN, and at the European Commission (DG COMP) in Brussels.
During his Master’s studies at King’s College London and his legal clerkship at the European Commission, he specialised in regulatory and competition law issues related to digital markets..
